Our Story
I was introduced to programming as a kid at the elementary school level. I began digging in and learning more as it began to interest me in my childhood. I loved reading programming books and sorting algorithms and data structures. I slowly gained confidence with time and practice.
Several years later I migrated to Auckland, New Zealand which brought my programming experience to the next level. I studied multimedia and programming at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). This was also the time when I got introduced to PHP and MySQL programming and started doing various Open-Sourced projects done with php and also moving from simple to complex projects. PHP language fits my style of programming and thinking (Keep It Simple). I learned various tricks involved in Php programming. It was something new and challenging yet very interesting for me. My career took off when I worked with Air New Zealand, DHL, Marley, Konica Minolta…. as my clients.
I along with three of the most talented people we start Freelance Web Development Studio in the year 2010. From the inception, our main aim is to establish our development studio as one-stop shop for all web development and graphics needs throughout the lower mainland of Vancouver, Canada. With the in-house talent and resources we have fulfilled our vision.
We have worked on various kinds of web projects, writing content management systems, creating modules for eCommerce systems etc . PHP is not our default choice of language but the market have forced us to take that path. Now we have diversified into other programming languages like Ruby and Python. Our main achievement includes a project with UBC and lower mainland school board (LOMERA) for making the ESL program onto digital form with automation. On that project we work around 3 years on and off. Now we are very close to getting it on all school of lower mainland as default means of testing the english language skill for standard 8, 9 and 10. Also we work with different government of BC contracts.
